Really enjoyed walking Parkerson Mill Creek with Dr. Jim Stoeckel’s lab this week. Bonus of a Daniel Gragson guest appearance to share work he’s doing with invasive plants (& some fish observations, of course) #PMC #streamrestoration @ACESedu @AuburnAg

#AL Drought Update‼️ There are swaths of drought improvements across Southern & Central AL, with many Southern counties finally returning to normal conditions. With more beneficial rain in next week's forecast, expect to see continued improvements in some areas. #ALDroughtReach

🌽#AL Crop Update🌽 Much of the state has gone weeks without rain, which has delayed 3rd hay cuttings, winter wheat planting, and peanut harvest. Some areas of North AL also had their first frost of the year, which has exacerbated grazing shortages. #ALDroughtReach

What is the recipe for an excellent keynote? One part inspiration, one part wisdom, and a dash of humor. Our #ALWRC24 keynotes were amazing. Thank you Mark Masters & Dr. Rebecca Bearden! @AuburnWater

🌽#AL Crop Update🌽 As drought continues, agricultural commodities are suffering. There is a noticeable yield reduction in corn harvest & there are potential yield losses in other crops. Soil moisture is 11% dryer than last week & many pastures are declining. #ALDroughtReach
