The @AuburnCSES #PrecisionAg Team is running tests/demonstrations of Variable Rate #Irrigation (VRI). Today we uploaded two IPrescriptions: Variable Zone Control on a Valley Pivot, at the Farmers Competition Project #TAPS & a VRI Speed Control on a @FieldNET Pivot. @KSUTAPS

We’re studying the Smart Corn technology in Alabama: seeding rate, row spacing and N program. Is it more efficient in using water and fertility? We’ll find out at the end of the season. @AuburnCSES @ACESedu

Starting a new project on the impact of deficit #irrigstion on #Peanut and the use of @DynamaxInc IRT sensors to evaluate Canopy Temperature as a result of #water stress. Results can be applied to Variable Rate Irrigation. #savewater #reduceyieldlosses. @AuburnCSES
