Two years ago I accepted the offer to come to @obunews as Chair of @HobbsOBU and Assoc. Professor of Theology & Early Christianity. It was not an easy decision for a number of reasons and was reached after several really difficult months of prayer, consideration, countless long.

I’ll continue to say this: modernism is not the bad guy. There have been really helpful gains in various fields due to modern methodology, technologies, and discoveries. The problem is when we allow chronological snobbery to gut basic foundations of historic Christian belief.
