It does seem right that the cyber offense-defense balance is tipped by AI to the offense.

The writing was on the wall. We predicted 👇 that AI will change the cybersecurity balance of powers to favor attackers, and it does. This is just the beginning.

Rather excited by this. Just this weekend, I was telling someone how I'd like some speculative work on robot timelines? Is is soon? A long time? Excited to read this!

Read the full version below: https://t.co/P9A9DivjRo I predict how embodied general intelligence (EGI) will be created, and on the way, how the US will out-manufacture China, endure political upheaval, and produce more robots than humans. (While I used to work at Dyna and Tesla

Insane new stats on AI music: - 50,000 AI songs are uploaded every day - 34% of songs uploaded are AI-generated Massive respect to Deezer for being open about this - and being the only streaming platform to try to fight it. This can't become the new normal.

We believe this is the first documented case of a large-scale AI cyberattack executed without substantial human intervention. It has significant implications for cybersecurity in the age of AI agents. Read more:

While not surprising, this is seriously worrying. Understanding emerging dual-use AI capabilities should be a priority for the US gov. Now's the time to turbocharge CAISI. "the first documented case of a large-scale cyberattack executed without substantial human intervention."

We disrupted a highly sophisticated AI-led espionage campaign. The attack targeted large tech companies, financial institutions, chemical manufacturing companies, and government agencies. We assess with high confidence that the threat actor was a Chinese state-sponsored group.

WSJ just dropped another strong investigation on how China is exploiting loopholes in U.S. export controls. To summarize what is happening and the loopholes that China is exploiting: 1️⃣ Nvidia ships Blackwell AI chips to Aivres Systems, a U.S.-based company that is 100% owned

A lot of people have read "AI as Normal Technology" and think "nothing to see here, this AGI thing won't ever be scary". But that's not what the authors meant! *Current* AI is normal. *Future* AGI may not be! Great to see common ground with the authors of AI 2027.

The idea that Zoomers are "utterly screwed" in material terms is total nonsense and I wish people would stop repeating it. Housing is a bit more expensive than previous generations. Many other necessities — food, clothing, most manufactured goods are cheaper than ever.
