Very happy to share that this week, I started as a Lecturer in Sports Coaching at Edge Hill University. A very exciting & busy time incl moving to Liverpool and finishing up the PhD! Leaving LBU (almost!) very grateful for the people I met and the experiences I was provided.

And the first ever Holistic Player Development in Academy Football is off to a great start led by @tom_mitch3 @Carnegie_Sport @CarnegieSpCoach A great mix of practitioners and researchers in the room from across the word of academy football ⚽️👩🏽‍🎓

What a day at the first Holistic Development in the Modern Academy event. This invite only event had representation from @Carnegie_Sport academics @FA @ASD_SportDir @EFL and academy staff from @DRFC_Academy @ManUtd @SunderlandAFC and @htafc 🧵

We explore the idea of TD in grassroots soccer, inc TIDS challenges & looking forward to an alternate approach. It includes some of my phd findings from work with @ICOACHKIDSWORLD. This is some of the first published ideas of the holistic TD central to my PhD. A serious team!
