Public schools should be fully funded so teachers earn a minimum of $80,000, kids get free breakfast and lunch, and classrooms have new books and technology. If that means taxing the ultra-rich into oblivion... even better.

No one wants to hear this but our success as a nation rests on our commitment to literacy and education. You have to read to your kids. You have to make them passionate about reading. A society where the written word is no longer valued is already in eclipse.
It would be nice if America took teaching kids to read books one tenth as seriously as it takes youth sports.

Before marketing became only focused on metrics & reach, it used to be what’s called transmedial. The entire idea was to use creative, unique ways to create interest and expand the story. Marketing now is unfortunately a cesspool of only wanting higher analytic numbers.

The movie theater is my happy place. For a long time it was the only thing to get me out of the house. The previews, the posters, the popcorn.. I cherish every moment. Going to the theater has helped me get through hard times, and introduced me to so many moviegoing friends.
