I decided that I wanted to remake my edge highlights shader today. I'm so happy with how it's coming out so far - it's now AUTOMATIC!!
My previous shader required manual control/animation and it was inconvenient to use, so this is a lot better.

Here's the node group I've been working on for the Edge Highlights! It has a few customization options to change it to your preference. I have a couple more ideas I want to add into this, such as controlling how much the light spreads over.

I had a lot of trouble animating the facials for this guy, it was HORRIBLE. i couldn't handle the whimsy 😨😨

This is the first time I've ever used geometry nodes! My goal was to make a simple randomizer that would handle all of the shuffling of letters for me instead of having to hand animate it all. I think it came out pretty nicely.

I wish people would stop shitting on different studios' art styles and for the love of god stop comparing them to Spider-Verse. These movies are not the same. Spider-Verse was made to look like comic books.
It wouldn't make sense for Luca to look like a comic book 😭
Like they need to step it up! Look at Across The Spiderverse. Pixar characters all look the same and I get that's cause they wanna play it safe. Just take some risks for God's sake! Not saying the movies are bad btw. Elio looks boring to me...

RIP Technoblade.
I'm heartbroken. He was one of my favorite content creators, one that I really looked up to. I'm gonna miss him honestly.

I went back to the drawing board with the edge detection specifically. I was doing some research earlier and I found a method that allows me to get the edges of cube models without backface culling. However, it doesn't work with non-cube models right now.
