There is absolutely no proof that she is being mistreated. Female hostages who were released said they were treated well. I can empathise with her mum's despair and hope she is returned but she is a soldier and prisoner of war, not a hostage.

You've deliberately taken that out of context. The judge followed with "I want him to answer the questions" which is how court works. Trump was ranting and not answering. His lawyers could have cross examined him. They chose not to.
