all this is to say… that i am still here, looking from afar and keeping a pulse on mcyt and all the epic and cool videos coming out 😊. i’m working away hard now so in the future i can make good content, i just can’t bring it to life just yet and frankly it’s killing me /lh.

i know at some point in the next six-twelve months life will calm down a little and a time and place to focus more on personal passion project will arise, but i’m scared that it’ll be left too late or that the current focuses of the community (both mcyt and mcanim) will move on.

i have two seriously wicked back-pocket films i’ve been spending the past month writing (one short and one music video) but my lack of interaction and connection with the wider community makes them close to impossible to make. i’m in a rock and a hard place.

i also no longer have the time and resources at my disposal in my current day-to-day life to fully commit to passion projects, unlike where i was in 2023 where i still chipped away at warpedsmp until i canned it over production issues.

my twitter feed is the biggest culprit, it’s become creatively dysfunctional and impacts my mood significantly. not the political crap but the constant SMP content and my want to keep in touch with everyone 🤗, only to look inward and find i have nothing to show for myself 😖.
