Seriously, though, Jumpmaster Press are great guys, seriously pro-author, and very solid editors. Have a couple acquaintances who've published with them and they have nothing but positive things to say about working with them.

Over the summer, our late elementary-aged son has gotten way into audiobooks. He loves middle-grade fantasy and sci-fi stories of adventure. Been just two months. He's about tapped out the whole market. It's bleak out there.

Some Shadowdark fans took violent exception to my in-depth review of the system. Even though I was ultimately more positive than negative, I had a number tell me I can't properly review an RPG system without playing it. Well, I've played it now and so can update my review (1/?):

Players were mournful to have to blow through this system in Stars Without Number last night. Mining operations and two of the young system's jump points were inside of a massive accretion disk, a murky soup constantly degrading armor. Fled out minutes ahead of a fleet cruiser.

Our 13-year-old daughter finished Call of Cthulhu three days ago. She was creeped out by it but also loved it. "Amazing how a hundred year old book can be so good!". Original Lovecraft still hits.
Nah, I enjoy Lovecraft's stories. Lovecraftian horror has kinda become oversaturated over the last half-century, but most of them are still a lot of fun.

Evolution. Now time to add the various polis, the forest of spirits, Minotaur Wastes (with volcanoes), a cyclops' oracle cave. happy with the landforms.
Pretty happy with this Three Seas Map. Need to move the western islands a bit to make it less Superior, but we're in Real Fantasy Book space now.
