One thing I don't understand is how I can get along so well with some people and be like oil and water with others. I'm sure much of it is due to my personality but I just don't understand why it's not one way or the other?

I agree with this whole heartedly. A lot people hide behind phrases such as "it's cheap", "It's campy", and "It's not supposed to be good" as excuses for poor quality.
@ThePhoenixPress I just don't think some creators understand what makes Tokusatsu fun. As much as like Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger outfits. It would be better if they just do their own thing and make there own outfits.

Tonight I was considering not writing but this novel ain't gonna write itself! Managed to get 641 words done for Quartermain so that's pretty cool. Writing fight scenes are fun!
