I get it though, once GSC offers something it's hard to take it back. With everything influx due to "AI Mode" and "AI Overviews", I think it's important that Google team proceeds cautiously before committing to anything.

📢 SEOs to Google:.“Hey, we need more support in GSC for visibility into AI Overviews, better API rate limits, longer historical data, and insights into AI mode”. 👨💻 Google:.“Say less. Here’s a new logo.”

🤔 quick pulse check: how many of y'all have changed your search behavior away from Google? . If so, where do you go these days (eg. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, AI mode)?. I gravitate towards AI mode or ChatGPT but platform lock in with default search on Chrome / Safari /.

👀 Anyone else notice that ChatGPT gives autocomplete recommendations now? . This looks like the best and only glimpse into "prompt research" on the market. Now that you have this data, what are you going to do with it?
