We love bikes, we love CAFETO, we don't like them together on Yonge Street - it is dangerous! Be Green but Be Rational https://t.co/o1Itltz5ve

Toronto's war on cars. Yonge street in Willowdale with plenty of empty sidewalks. But no, the cafes go in the road. Crazy. https://t.co/UwUrsabxTR

Line 1: There is no subway service between Eglinton and Bloor-Yonge stations for track work. Shuttle buses are running.

We have asked the same question ...planning department??? Knock knock @JoshMatlow @JohnTory
@kinsellawarren It is unbearable. Apparently there is a Planning Dept. Who knew ? The city is so poorly managed.

Yup and neither does Yonge @JohnTory
@splainthis @kinsellawarren The Danforth is really no longer a useable road. At least some of the bike lanes need to be removed. It was a fun experiment but it doesn’t work.

@kinsellawarren driving on the Danforth feels like a virtual reality game of MarioKart. Watch out for the bikes ignoring street lights, ohoh pedestrian j-walking , hm it was a lane a minute ago

The traffic people in Toronto put up with: it is insane. I don’t recall it ever being as bad as it is now, post-pandemic.

@JohnTory @ActonForMayor Traffic Services Superintendent Scott Baptist joined by Mayor John Tory to Announce “Keep Toronto Moving”, Is this moving? TTC is a public service? Is this service? Nothing moving here Wasn’t this a last @JohnCampaign promise? #Tory’s Traffic!

Councillor Layton thinks “data would support” permanent Yonge bike lanes but ignores that current data disregards impacts from Yonge’s central role in the growing regional transit network and TransformTO’s call for dedicated bus lanes.@JohnTory @JayeRobinson @joshmatlow @m_layton

As per usual the city ‘crats did not allow enough time for feedback and questions. Not that they will listen to anyone about the traffic chaos people like the city’s Bike Lane guru Jacquelyn Hayward have created throughout the city… Bloor/Woodbine/Yonge St come to mind.

Bloor. Danforth. Woodbine. Yonge St. And now Babs Gray and her Bike Lanes boobs in transportation are intent on messing up Eglinton with cycle tracks. Have the biz and residents living through 12 years of Eg-Crosstown construction not suffered enough?

After 4 years of unrelated 'studies' and confirmation bias - without Chief Planner, or references to growth projections, or any Q2 2019 interim findings - staff sticks to 2-lane link between Downtown and Midtown. Anyone supervising? @JohnTory @JayeRobinson @joshmatlow @m_layton

@jen_keesmaat We don't need more vehicle lanes removed. Until bikes are licensed and require insurance and riders can be charged for flying through stop signs and red-light bike lanes should be secondary. Look at Bloor east of Yonge and along g the Danforth. Those lanes are hardly ever used.

Yonge cut down to 2 lanes supposed to accommodate: construction vehicles for 25 towers; fire trucks; ambulances; regular, shuttle, and future relief buses; delivery trucks; garbage trucks; school buses; taxis; cars … and odd cyclist. @JohnTory @JayeRobinson @joshmatlow @m_layton
