Thank you for sharing @Vincent_Ledvina. Green light at 557.7 nanometer wavelength, is emitted by atomic oxygen (single O atoms) found at ~80km altitude, when hit by charged particles from solar wind. In the middle of the visible spectrum, this is near our eyes' peak sensitivity

To give context on age, Grace Hopper began computing at 38, completed the first compiler at 46, helped shape COBOL at 53, kept developing COBOL for the Navy in her 70s, retired from the Navy at 80 & then became a consultant for the Digital Equipment Corporation. v/@cooperx86 &

IIn the late 90s, 🇨🇦's mobile scene was dominated by @Bell & @Rogers selling locked CDMA phones. @Fidomobile broke ground with GSM, enabling SIM swaps. This Nortel GSM handset (1997) featured cutting-edge audio developed by BNR/Nortel’s Ottawa acoustic lab, under David Cuddy.
