After an even tougher regime came into effect this year for tickets to this event, we are SO fortunate to be here for the 9th consecutive year at the @PoppyLegion Festival of Remembrance that’ll be on @BBCOne at 9pm! Looking at the programme, another superb line up awaits.

And so begins Remembrance 2025 kicking off with last night’s Festival of Remembrance organised by C Group @PoppyLegion at the Apex in Bury St Edmunds. It was an enormous privilege, as the newly elected Chairman of C Group Suffolk @PoppyLegion to be the presenter of this event.

Breaking News from @RoyalFamily this evening. Prince Andrew has his birthright title of Prince revoked by The King and shall now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. He is served notice to leave Royal Lodge and it’s understood will move to a private residence at Sandringham

You really do spout the biggest heap of codswallop! For anyone to acclaim @AngelaRayner as being a “Great British Political Figure of our Time” needs a serious head wobble and a sanity test. Just demonstrates how incompetent this cabinet are.
Angela Rayner is one of the great British political figures of our time. Generations will grow up with stronger rights at work and in new homes because of her vision and leadership. I know she will continue to stand at the front of the fight for social justice in this country.

I’m puzzled. Labourites tell us that Angela Rayner was only trying to look after her child which they quite rightly say is understandable. But when a farmer tries to look after his children, they say he’s a tax dodger.

18 years ago, I made my first trip to Australia anticipating it to be a place I would come to adore. When I left for my first trip, my goddaughter was 6 months old Fast forward 18 years, and what better way could I celebrate her 18th Birthday than to take her with me this year!

Whilst it’s inevitable to read opposing remarks about the party that is in control of the council concerned, @PeterPrinsley remarks are deeply ageist and patronising. I became Chairman of @IxworthVillage Parish Council aged 28 and remain proud to be its youngest ever Chairman.

I travel extensively and never have I endured long queues like this. However, queuing at eGates, I’ve done that a lot!
Instead of waiting in long queues at passport control, Brits travelling to Europe will now be able to use e-Gates. So you can start your holiday sooner.
