Really excited to see this come together. It's 100% not done, but it feels good to hang the ole digital shingle out there. Thanks to everyone who's been a part or helped us on this journey.

I love making systems more reliable so I can focus on building new features and not fighting fires. A service mesh can help me do just that. Here's something I wrote that highlights 4 strong benefits to putting a service mesh into your application.

If I was building a web application from scratch, I'd most likely pick Kubernetes to host my backend service code. I'd choose running it in EKS and I'd be building the backend with Rust and probably Axum. I'd opt for this over hosting my API behind API Gateway with Lambda.

I've been wanting to put some content out lately around working with Kubernetes and this article is a gentle introduction to using Helm to build Kubernetes Resources. #kubernetes #devops #automation.

If you are like me and can't keep straight what type of coding you are doing . don't worry about the name, lingo, or label. Who cares. Just do what's productive and makes you happy. Labels are fine to categorize but can be dangerous when treated as hard boundaries and then can.

I'm going to open a Software Garage. It's where companies bring me their beat up and old projects, destroyed by bad AI mechanics. My specialty will be in Restorations, focusing on "Classic" era projects built before 2021.

Debug support for local #serverless development in Azure so far is impressive.

Interesting. I'm not a huge user of TypeScript for more than console tools and AWS CDK, but these improvements are not inconsequential. Also interesting that they are leaning into Golang to make it happen.

This is the point where Tiger isn't winning anymore on the PGA Tour. I get "you can't bet against", but the sure money is on no. Another surgery. Love the guy and what he's done, but he's a ceremonial figure now. I don't know if he has the body to play the Champions Tour. He.

I was called an "invigilator" today. Go look that up and learn something new. I had no idea what it meant :).
