This documentary is excellent. It hits on many key points, including the effect on rural economies and the recent expansion of Turkish military bases. But it also raises an undercovered issue: the fight for recognition and compensation for civilians killed in Turkish airstrikes.
Thrilled that our exclusive investigation, “Turkey’s Hidden War: The Forbidden Zone” is now out on @BBCWorld @BBCArabic. Watch in English: https://t.co/fYhap3uQAF Watch in Arabic: https://t.co/mj49dROXQx Reported and Produced by me Assistant Producer: Adam Gnych Produced and

New report by me, @benckrick & @RaedShehabAhmed for @UNIDIR on attitudes toward Iraqis with perceived ties to ISIL based on original survey data and interviews. We find that stigma persists 8 years after ISIL's territorial defeat: https://t.co/VCll2g2VBf

How do large #cashgrants in #Pakistan and sanctions on Iran affect #Afghanrefugees in these countries? And what is the link between refugee #returnees and conflict? @Chris_W_Blair’s study answered these questions at the 3rd Research Conference. Watch: https://t.co/Ys8lxyMdQv

I'm also excited that a paper I wrote on the connections between domestic politics & IR is now published in @JPR_journal! It presents the 'democratic patience', and finds that democracies are slower to resort to violence during interstate crises. https://t.co/D8JPGmGW4p
