I read The Cannibal Owl (@BellePointPress) by @AmericanGwyn in one sitting. It's a novella that reads like an epic. The comparisons-and contrasts-to Blood Meridian will be made, but I found myself thinking more of Legends of the Fall. Thanks to @DanielCowper for the rec!
