We’ve not posted much recently, preparing for the Appeal. Separately we’ve just found out the resubmitted application’s going to Planning Committee on Tues 14 Nov so we need to prepare for that too. Our fight to save our lovely wildlife habitat & green space continues … 💚🌳🍃

In March, the DMBC planning committee refused Miller Homes’ ecologically destructive plans to build on Rose Hill💚. They’ve now submitted exactly the same plans again! Please help us stop them by objecting (see pinned tweet for details). Thanks @CommunityPlann1 @DonnyGreenParty

The developer’s ecologist has agreed there are areas of woodland on Rose Hill. So will DMBC now apply its policies of protecting & enhancing existing woodland & its presumption against developments resulting in loss of woodland/#trees & #SaveRoseHill? #nature #ClimateCrisis

Another (brief) reprieve for Rose Hill. Not being taken to Jan planning c’tee. Reason, we think, is inadequate BNG reports from developer (DMBC ecologist has raised issues). We have also pointed out issues with other reports/aspects. We shall see what happens … #SaveRoseHill

@MyDoncaster I'm going to save @beetlebeard the bother here because this is getting on my nerves too. How can you claim a rewilding agenda & then sell off a classically rewilded area like @Save_Rose_Hill I know we've become acustomed to this fake B.S. but - get a grip & quit the posturing.

Last yr, @CllrDaveShaw made an excellent point. Today rewilded land still threatened & env. policy still lacks credibility. Please could all Cllrs who care about tackling #ClimateCrisis work together cross-party to fix this before it’s too late. Thank you. #ClimateActionNow
If our motion to full council is to have any meaning, areas of rewilded land need designation and protection. A wholesale review of housing need and land allocation in @mydoncaster is essential if we are to have a credible environmental policy.
