the US does this too. i was in the mf IB program and tell me why in WORLD HISTORY we were only learning about WWII. and a little bit of russian revolution.but still nothing said about how soviet union basically won the war & US came at the end after soviets had done the hard work.
UK education focuses on WW2 so heavily because it's one of the few times in history we could be considered the good guys.
