I think this will go down as one of the most memorable days of my career. Conference title match between #1 and #2 that goes five, football rushing record in a 71-7 win, and some good company to do it with.

NAIA #13 Northwestern (IA) took out rival #7 Dordt, 3-0 today in cloudy & rainy conditions. Northwestern secured the win by blocking a 41-yd FG attempt with under 10 seconds. Dordt outgained their opponents 216-169. Northwestern was 1 of 3 on FGs.

Fun fact: for my first MLB game attended, the two best players on each team that night were Grady Sizemore, Shin Soo-Choo, Denard Span, and Delmon Young.
The Chicago White Sox have named Grady Sizemore as their interim manager after firing Pedro Grifol earlier today. The team said it plans to name a permanent replacement after the regular season ends. Sizemore was a three-time All-Star with Cleveland over a 10-year career.
