What’s easy to focus on:.- Switcher crashed mid-show.- Ethernet cable randomly broke.- Robo cam struggled to white-balance. What’s important to focus on:.- All games got on the air.- New equipment was successfully incorporated.- All crew members had fun & learned something new

Nothing is as difficult as convincing non-creatives that less is more. “Are you sure we don’t need another logo there? Look at all that white space!! Maybe make that photo bigger or add a line of text??”. No. I’m sure.

Don’t accumulate complaints. You have a problem? Talk about it. Share it. Give someone a chance to respond or rectify it right away. Accumulating complaints may seem strategic, but is ultimately self defeating and counterproductive.
