My biggest ongoing battle is against complacency. It's so easy to lean back, and be happy with where you are & what you're doing. To be content with being reactive. I constantly have to remind myself to fight against it. To innovate. To be proactive. To lean forward and do more.

I respond to every DM. I answer every email. I pick up every phone call. I accept every networking request. I acknowledge every Zoom invite. It’s because I remember being young, and being so discouraged when people didn’t respond, answer, pick up, accept or acknowledge me.

Why do we have a stack of gear waiting for our interns every year?. 1. Internships are paid, but not a lot. 2. Interns are rarely Harvard students. 3. Interns are with us for only 10 months. Branded gear shows appreciation, and helps rapidly build a connection with the school.
