Exceptionally great advice from a guy who was recruited in his college days and who is seeing all the changes. Endless respect for @CoachHogge72 who seeks only to promote the young men who play this game and want to work.
I know there is lots of nervousness with recruits right now, specifically high school 25’s & now 26’s. Either you haven’t signed with a school, aren’t talking to four year schools, or schools aren’t visiting you now that dead period is over in January. (social media is the worst

Virtually all new rules in the last few years have been adverse for high school players: .An extra year of eligibility granted for COVID, looser medical red shirt rulings, an unconstrained transfer portal, NIL, reduced FBS rosters, and some colleges killing football programs.

There are about 15,000 HS football programs. Estimates are 400,000 varsity players. 200,000 graduating seniors. There are about 20,000 D1 scholarships total. There were 11,000 players in the portal last year. 3,700 landed scholarships. HS and JuCo recruiting will be jammed up.

My daughter is in this video a few yards away from the shooter. I had a concealed carry permit at one time. I own guns. And I am so fucking SICK of gun violence and gun culture in this country. It’s idiotic. There are TOO MANY guns and they are far too easy to get. Fix the 2A.
