This is some of the most valuable farmland in the country. Ford, not only has lost interest in building affordable homes, he’s lost interest in supporting the water supply for existing residents or for those people who put local food on your table.

A reminder to Ontario voters, * 55% of eligible voters DID NOT vote in the last provincial election, which means that only * 45% of e.v. voted. * 43% of the 45% voted for the OPCs. So, only 20% of e.v. actually elected Doug Ford. He should listen more to the remaining 80%.

People miss the point. If we add all the money Ford spent defending his court cases, wasting on Skills slush funds, metro links, green space, OSC, Island spa, license plates, corner store beer etc. we could have given every student free tuition for 20 yrs. and have left overs.
New: the Minister of Colleges & Universities appears to distance himself from Doug Ford’s comments suggesting students are using OSAP to buy “fancy watches & cologne.” He tells me cuts to government grants are about “system pressures & sustainability.” Full story to come.
