Lot of noise about this data presented at STS. But the ACC/AHA guidelines highlighted seem wrong? Bioprosthetic SAVR is not 1A recommendation at all in age <65. It is only in patients who can’t take Warfarin. Even in that it should be 1C not 1A?

Arming surgeons with better tools. It’s time surgical valve sizing and need for root enlargement etc is planned before patients chest is opened ! Thanks to the reviewers and editors of Annals who are progressive in their thinking.
