Trustees are elected. No Minister should direct them to NOT engage constituents. It's overreach, and a fundamental disrespect to the electorate and taxpayer. I encourage ALL TRUSTEES under Supervision to defy the Minister's directive. Meet parents, inform and engage.

TY @TinaYazdani Parents have a right to a voice at the table but this gov't is hell bent on silencing them. It's wrong, it needs to stop, parents need to speak up and tell Calandra to stop acting like a school yard bully. Students deserve better. Supervision hurts kids.

Asking for a friend. Maybe the Ministry should investigate itself for intentionally underfunding boards which led to chronic deficits which led to hiring of well connected "Supervisors"? @BonnieCrombie @JohnFraserOS @MaritStiles @ChandraPasma @Ont_Ombudsman.
