When it comes to business, small is not less than. Small business has a huge advantage over big business: It can do small things. And most of the things that need doing are small things. Big companies trip over their size all the time, making things larger than they need to be.

"You’ve got to love what you do!" You've probably heard it a thousand times. "If you don’t love what you do, you might as well stay home." But you don't need to love what you do. Personally, my "love" grew, but I didn't have it to start. https://t.co/QpFTnI9Hus

Authorities dug up a $90,000 Mercedes out of the backyard of a Silicon Valley home, buried 5 feet under the ground and filled with unused bags of concrete (and no bodies). So. Many. Questions. https://t.co/e6lkpVA6Zg

Wondering how many words have a silent "c" like Tucson? Seriously, how do you get Too-Sohn out of that spelling?

PACER may not be the best website, but county court websites are often worse. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Interviewing witnesses takes time. Not the interview, necessarily, but the id, locate, and prep. I've been in 10 minute interviews that lead to case-breaking revelations. I've been in multiple-hours long interviews that netted not a goddamn thing.

"You follow me, so I am going to follow you" seems pretty childish, but in this case, totally appropriate. This teenager, who was tracking Elon Musk’s jet, is now railing Zuckerberg too

When I wrote my book, it came out of a deep desire to make forensic accounting available to more practitioners so that it can help victims of financial fraud. After 11 years in the making, I am so glad that I can share this book with fellow investigators. https://t.co/LhQxT2c9M7

Not often you see an investigation into a short seller, ending in gunfire. Just a hunch, but I am guessing there is more to this story... https://t.co/ARQfx8Eh5h
