Reposting this video cause it was suddenly deleted. Senator Lidia Thorpe shouting at King Charles in Parliament House, “You are not our King! This is not your land!”. She is very much representing the strong feeling of indigenous Australians. #NotMyKing

Solidarity with all Muslims, migrants, refugees and people of colour affected by the current violence. We must not only defeat these far right thugs, but the ideology that drives them. We must combat racism, Islamophobia and anti-migrant hatred wherever they rear their head.

Thanks to @wordsmansfield for her review of Sandra George in her round up of @GIfestival "The surprise of the festival is the work of Sandra George (****) at 5 Florence Street, a community worker and documentary photographer in Edinburgh’s Craigmillar in the 1980s and 1990s."

Israel has bombed the tents of displaced Palestinians in the designated safe area. The tents are melting, the people are melting, there are beheaded children and charred bodies beyond recognition. We will not look away. Free Palestine.

The lesson of literally almost every single successful social movement in modern US history (women’s suffrage, civil rights, LGBTQ, Act-UP, antiwar, disability rights, etc) is that dissent *must* produce disorder to provoke the kind of response that enables meaningful change.
Biden is now giving a completely one-sided, dishonest speech about these campus protests. “Dissent must never lead to disorder.”

Scotland already has more golf courses per capita than anywhere else in the world, meanwhile it ranks 28th from the bottom (out of 240 countries & territories) in the Biodiversity Intactness Index. Everywhere nature is being squeezed. #RightsofNature #SaveCoulLinks
Today Highland Councillors will decide whether to #SaveCoulLinks from damaging golf course plans. We urge them to refuse permission. Coul Links is internationally protected and Scotland is in a nature and climate emergency; places like this must be safeguarded.
