Someone needs to sit the British left down and explain to them that a party name doesn't have to be a single word. "Arise" is such a shit name, it tells me nothing about what the party stands for.
“He said the name of the party would be chosen by members but added that The Collective and Arise have been bandied about.”. This ugly ass names, my god.

With all due respect to the Greens I do sometimes get the impression that they want the party to rebrand into the Socialist Party or something and abandon green politics altogether. I never see these lot actually talk about the environment anymore.
Yeah this isn’t going anywhere. I think the left would be better off joining the Greens. An actually established political party.

The lesson to be learnt from Unite to Remain is that standing aside for other parties out of fear of "vote splitting" doesn't work. It was famously a massive failure.
Does anyone remember the “unite to remain” alliance and all their victories? .I think I’ve seen this film before, and I didn’t like the ending.
