The term “jaywalking” upsets me every time I see it. I want people to question where it comes from and understand that it is a racial slur and an ableist term. Decriminalizing anything is a victory to me. But it’s odd that nobody is problematizing the term itself.

I’m at a concert for #EdinburghFestival and they have 4 very nice portable toilets. Women, men, gender neutral, and handicap. It’s nice. Each box has like 8 flushing toilets with 8 sinks and hot water. Why does the US think this is so hard?
