Conclusions:.- telemedicine has a role in HF patients but longer-term follow-up required.- remote consultations alone are not enough.- there is limited evidence in non-HF populations (4/4). Read the paper in @LancetDigitalH .

Delighted to share our systematic review and meta-analysis on telemedicine for cardiovascular diseases led by @PeiXuanKuan1 and colleagues. In heart failure patients, remotely monitoring and consulting associated with a ⬇️17% in cardiovascular mortality across 8 studies (1/4).
