Friends, Happy to share my new research on the history of sleep violence under colonialism. How the sleep of colonial British people produced violence against colonised on racial lines. @scroll_in Sleeping Masters, Drowsy Servants: https://t.co/j4JgXSZ65Q via @scroll_in

Was it an election in Bihar as the outcome shows? What we mean to convey that with this result the inferences are clear: 1. There is no joblessness 2. The pain of migration is fiction 3. Health and Education doesn’t matter However, issues raise by @yadavtejashwi would remain

Link: https://t.co/Or3qmNv6VA

To me the issue of 10000 rs is not a simply an issue of people bargaining their votes, as popular social media makes out. Rather, it is an indication of a larger distrust by common people of the democratic welfare structure. In absence of any significant individual gain for the

We are at a stage where India needs to weave a new destiny for itself, leaving behind its partisan politics. India needs progressive leaders. India needs visionary leaders. India needs leaders with inclusive agenda. India needs leaders who celebrates India’s diversity.

I am aghast by the fact of how some of the big Indian media presents unverified news. Announcing the death of the actor Mr Dharmendra without verifying news and jumping conclusion is case in point. But imagine news that they have been paddling without any verification and facts.

Shocked to see visuals from the Red Fort- a place from where we celebrate our freedom and a symbol of our plural culture. My thoughts are with those impacted by the blast.

Thanks @sanjayuvacha
Sorry Mr Tharoor, unleashing the "dragon seeds of hatred" (to quote Kushwant Singh) in this country is NOT public service.

Dreading my visit to Delhi, the city I love, especially with a little child. It looks apocalyptic.

Thanks all for your comforting messages. Many of you have shared your own horrible stories which have affected you & your loved ones. We definitely need better road safety mechanisms. As a suggestion, India definitely needs compulsory dash cams and cctvs on roads.
Lost my young cousin sister in an accident in Lucknow today while she was driving her scooter from her NEET coaching. She was wearing a helmet. The saddest part is that the guy who hit her from back left the seen. We don’t even know what hit her. The govt ambulance that came to

I am copying this tweet to @nitin_gadkari ji with the hope that his ministry will make some policy on installing mandatory cctvs on all major flyovers throughout India and arrange better urgent medical care for the victims of accidents. Please help in reaching this news to him,

Top 10 Universities in the QS Asia Ranking. Not a single Indian university made to the top rank? In fact, there is not even one in the top 50 list. The Indian education system needs to have a serious debate as to what is it that they are doing wrong. It is an alarming data!

The speculation rose because Orsini was not given a cause for deportation. Then RW posts began questioning her scholarship, branded her anti national without any evidence. There is no hope and space. Some people are so full of themselves.
For once, I agree with @Swapan55! Rolling out an “unwelcome mat“ at our airport immigration counters to deport foreign scholars and academics because of trivial visa violations is doing us far more damage — as a country, a culture and an internationally-credible nation — than
