I prefer to focus on “what do I need to do to be the best version of myself I can be?” But the sentiment in the post is probably “don’t let others define you.” Which is probably good advice. But I’m thankful countless others have shaped me!

I also think we have to know our boundaries in all of life to know what we are willing to take on. Sounds like a wishy washy answer but I think it depends on the person.
