RT @MorePerfectUS: Tax cuts for billionaires are permanent in the big Republican bill. Tax cuts on tips expire in 2028.

Itâs not normal. Lawler voted to make the tax breaks on billionaires PERMANENT while making the no tax on tips (just for those making less than $25k) EXPIRE in just 3 years. Heâs also kicking tipped employees off Medicaid, ACA, and clawing back their SNAP.
Lawler: This is a big win for Americans across the country. No tax on tips, no tax on overtime. FOX: Those will expire in 2028 correct?. Lawler: Sure, but thatâs normal

Hmm! Was it @RepGarbarino? . After all, he âfell asleepâ and conveniently missed the first vote on this bill. Did he just wake up and decide to throw Long Island families off their healthcare? Because a speech by a Democrat made him sad? ď¸.
GOP Congressman just texted me: . âI was undecided on the bill but then I watched Hakeem Jeffries performance and now Iâm a firm yes.â.

House Republicans: Voting for cuts to *every single American* on SNAP in exchange for some signed merch. Voting to starve babies. The disabled. The poor. And they have the audacity to try to brand this as Christian. What does that word even mean to them? Wearing a necklace?.
"A conga line of angsty Republican lawmakers filed through the West Wing on Wednesday, hemming and hawing about Trump's bill. They walked out with signed merchandise and photos in the Oval Office."

Pro-tip to any GOP who think this should sway them:. Those things were left out of this bill for a reason. Leadership does NOT know your community. YOU do. Their job is to psychologically isolate you & apply ungodly amounts of pressure. YOUR job is to stand up for your people.
SCALISE tells me that he and other leaders conveyed there is an opportunity for a second budget bill this year to try to get things left out of this bill into law.

This isnât about you. This is about the 17 million Americans whose health insurance youâre taking away. And after you turned your back on them to vote âYESâ, you said your fellow House GOP should vote NO. Americans are going to suffer. YOU admit that. And YOU supported it.
This was one of the hardest votes I have taken during my time in the Senate. My goal throughout the reconciliation process has been to make a bad bill better for Alaska, and in many ways, we have done that. In addition to extending pro-growth tax cuts, a larger child tax.
