The Republican solution to every problem the working class is facing today is raids on immigrant communities, ripping away health care from poor and working class people, and tax cuts for billionaires. Ours is one of health care, living wages, and dignity for all of us.

The Republican Party has handed the masked agents of ICE a budget larger than every other federal law enforcement agency combined.

Making public colleges tuition-free would cost approximately $72 billion annually. Republicans in Congress just gave $172 billion to ICE detention facilities, hiring bonuses for ICE agents, and to build a wall on the border. It was never about "fiscal responsibility.".

Now is not the time for apathy. Now is not the time for nihilism. Now is the time to organize. Now is the time to fight back. We have a world to win.

At least 17 million Americans are projected to lose their health insurance under this bill. There are 902 billionaires in the United States. Under this legislation, they will receive some $975 billion in tax breaks. The Republican Party is stealing from you.

With Republicans in control, they somehow can find an endless flow of money to give tax cuts to billionaires. But when we talk about health care for all, a Green New Deal, universal child care, or housing as a human right, we're told "we can't afford it.". Priorities.

This reconciliation bill is a choice. It's a choice about what we put first — people, or money. Republicans are making it clear with their votes. If it passes:.17 million Americans lose their health coverage by 2034. The top 1% gets $975 billion in tax breaks. Unconscionable.
