If you want to know why Americans are so incurious and brain dead, this is an actual scene from of a college-level international relations class in an American University. This is what passes for education in this country. Remember that when you see the final mushroom cloud

When you can't Color Revolutionize them with NGOs, try with Jesus. They've really tried everything, NGOs, LGBT, CIA informants, fake genocides and now Jesus. Everything is failing. Even sanctions are failing.

The easiest way for China to sabotage the US is to do something well and suggest the US try it. Americans will refuse out of sheer butthurt.

To rebuild the United States into a great proud nation, we're going to need to swallow our pride, learn from, and occasionally ask China for help. It's just the reality. The sooner we come to terms with that, the sooner we can get back on the path to thriving once again.

By western standards, Hitler was indeed a moderate. There was nothing unique about him. He was a fairly typical western leader for his time. Hitler was the western everyman - a true capitalist. Most of his views were (and are) mainstream in the West: - Hating Communism and

This has been said before, not my original thought: the world order China and Russia are trying to "create" is exactly the world order US promised, and has in fact created. The problem is that once that world finally came to fruition, US realized it no longer was the top dog,

That is indeed true. And then? Now US is supporting Ukrainian Nazis and is trying to push Japan to fight for American supremacy (over China) in the Pacific. US helped both Russia and China in WW2, undeniable fact. Wasn't symbolic at all. Few people in Russia and China deny this.

Americans are saying that Communist Chyna is the greatest threat to their way of life. What precisely do they mean? It is a legit threat to their messianic dreams, global influence and share in non-vassalized markets. But… anything else? If there's no QUAD++… what happens?

The collective west, esp US, has "main character syndrome".

This is unrelated to Kyle's specific (and excellent) contribution to the piece but one nit I have is with common default framing of these pieces: that Beijing's main goal is to "beat the West". IMO this is "main character syndrome" framing that is contradicted by decades & reams

To me, it’s strange when people act like the EU/Japan/Korea/Taiwan are victims or unwilling vassals of the US. Newsflash! they are all willing accomplices and most support the US because they got rich from the US-led order. These guys are all willing to go down with the ship.

Europe's current situation resembles that of the colonies Europe subjugated and humiliated 200 years ago, notes Politico today. But so many Europeans refuse to acknowledge that truth, and are living in a fantasy world of imagined strength.

I kind of relate to this. Chinese were brutalized by colonial powers, but once Chinese won back their sovereignty, everyone became terrified of the Chinese. That's one of the deeper injustices of brutalization. The more brutalized a victim, the more we fear their rejuvenation. /

Anglo powers have no bottom line when it comes to basic decency—centuries of the same predatory games, masked in hypocrisy. Never forget their true nature.

The US is not an empire, it's one subordinate component of an empire. The interests of the US are subsumed which is why standard of living here is dropping so quickly.

, as will military adventurism, accompanied by increased threats, sanctions and outright robbing. for there is no way otherwise to reverse time back to the days of 60s high of US superpower-dom as promised(and greatly carved) by older gen elites like Trump.

On June 30, 1997, Britain's last Governor of Hong Kong, Chris Patten, took away the lowered colonial flag. The British Empire ended its 156-year colonization of Hong Kong.
