The affordability crisis is the number one issue facing families. That's why at the Budget we raised taxes on the wealthiest so we could take £150 of costs off energy bills. This Labour government will always stand up for working people.

@Iromg @Keir_Starmer I'm away again on an oil rig. Leaving my wife alone for Christmas. Paying ridiculous amounts of tax. Been made redundant in the New Year along with another 999 thanks to your windfall tax and your pointless net zero. There lots more the public are not aware of

3 years ago “We listened”. Then we got into power, shafted businesses (& in turn our high streets) with massive tax rises, and wrote a leaflet (in crayon) entitled ‘Labour saves small business, The End”. This lying, PR-obsessed Govt is an embarrassment & an absolute disgrace.
Small businesses are the beating heart of our high streets, our communities, and our economy. When I said we’d back them all the way, I meant it. Promise made. Promise delivered.
