It’s been 3+ years in the making but today is the day we finally open Marinero Lounge on Ipswich’s waterfront. Marinero is named after @IpswichTown legend (& my childhood hero) Paul Mariner & is housed in a fabulous former bonded warehouse on St. Peter’s Dock. @theLOUNGERS #ITFC

Today we’re back on Merseyside where we’ve opened Piloto Lounge in Crosby, near Liverpool. Piloto has opened in the centre of town in an amalgamation of a former Superdrug & Costa & includes a pleasantly surprising vaulted ceiling. @theLOUNGERS #LGRS #lovelounging

Today we’re in Bristol where we have opened our 7th hometown Lounge - & it’s a bit special! Miro Lounge has opened in Brislington in the former Boca Bar site in the Paintworks development. I actually passed on the site 21 years ago (& lived to regret it). @theLOUNGERS

Hospitality question⁉️.Should we consider presenting our prices on an ex-VAT basis with VAT added on at the end of a bill like lots of other businesses do - £5.42 + VAT for a pint instead of £6.50 for example? This would help illustrate how much is going straight to the treasury.

This is when the rot set in under Southgate. Instead of competing against Europe’s best in the last few days a team full of players who want nothing more than to be on the beach ground out a 1:0 win against Andorra and lost a meaningless friendly against Senegal.
I don’t get why so many England fans are dismissive of the Nations League. I’d much rather we were playing the likes of France, Spain, Belgium & Germany but instead our relegation means we’ll be playing the likes of Kazakhstan, Georgia, Albania, & Finland.

In another first we opened a new Lounge on a bank holiday. Sotto Lounge opened on Monday this week in Chatham Marina and is our 254th Lounge. Sotto is our 7th Lounge in Kent with more to come 😎.@theLOUNGERS #lovelounging #LGRS
