Just over two decades ago in @IPSSchools, your address was the sole determinant of where you went to public school. Starting next year in that same district, EVERY public school will be a school of choice. Truly remarkable.

Tonight the Metropolitan and Economic Development Committee voted to send Proposal 265, designating a portion of Indiana Avenue, from Senate Avenue to Blackford Street, as Madam Walker Memorial Way to the full council with a do-pass recommendation.
