Based on the 2025 SAT results for public schools within and near IPS boundaries, NINE of the TOP 10 schools for Black AND Latino student proficiency are independent charter and innovation schools. Congrats to these schools for creating transformative outcomes for students!

Our team celebrated the 2025 IREAD assessment results with Dr. Katie Jenner, Indiana Secretary of Education @EducateIN, after the State Board of Education meeting! Dr. Jenner noted that Summer Learning Labs is one of the strategies being employed to increase 3rd grade literacy.
