So most people don't have a reason to fake it but still quite a lot do. 😞 Having an empty profile doesn't mean you are a bad dev but that is highly likely. Whereas having a good GitHub profile means that you are highly likely to be consistent and a good dev.

It's not a fascination it's someone's consistency that is displayed through those green dots. I agree that they can be faked and a fully green chart doesn't mean someone's a good dev. But it shows that they are consistent. Having a green GitHub doesn't reward you with anything

Why though?I'd like to know your reasoning. If you are straight up calling someone bad at their craft because they chose convenience then there has to be a very good reason for it.
