60 years of public education was celebrated at Oak Flats HS with a great community festival. Photos were displayed in the hall so former students could take a walk down memory lane. There were lots of performances including a group of 1960s students who sang the school song!

Just shed a tear watching the Wallabies sing the national anthem in Eora then English. We do the same with Dharawal and English at school. It’s inspired me to learn the words. Speaking the same language is another important step towards Reconciliation. My heart is full! 🖤💛❤️
