In the latest post on our Substack I try to make sense of the mutual incomprehension between teachers & students about the role of AI in the classroom. Is it OK for students to use AI to write their assignments if that's the most efficient thing to do? If not, why not?

Very depressing to see government increasing asthma, COPD and dementia like this. Terrible decision.

This is incredible. An image of part of a mouse's brain the size of a poppy seed. Scientists map part of a mouse's brain that's so complex it looks like a galaxy

Am growing increasingly concerned that the government is about to take a backward step on mental health which will do further damage to its standing and more importantly damage care for people in need. The mental health sector was desperate for a change of government because

And thank you to the board of MQ. Because I cried in that interview when they asked me about Danni Their compassion and the adult conversation we had about doing the job while dealing with grief, showed me everything I needed about their humanity and values 7/12

I need to thank my wife, Danni, who I lost to cancer in September. My final interview for the job came weeks before Danni died. And I only kept going because she made me. It was a final, profound, act of kindness because she wanted me to have a purpose in my life without her 6/12
