Super pumped to share my first first-author paper in the Pierre Lab. The quarantine made everything so difficult but I'm so happy that this is finally online #UMNProud.
Siderophores are powerful iron chelators. With a little tweak of the ligand cap, they can also make great functionalizable gallium chelators for positron emission tomography. Check out the @InorgChem article by Valérie Pierre and colleagues @CBIC_UMN
