The first Australian sentenced to prison in relation to war crimes in Afghanistan is not a soldier convicted of a war crime, nor an officer commanding one, but one who (wittingly or not) helped expose them. @MurdochCadell .

Apparently Tb Spring offensives are still a thing too: ."Spring is when the Taliban deploy heavily-armed gunmen, brainwashed by years of re-education at Taliban-controlled madrassahs or religious schools, to kill opponents, torture innocent civilians and bully women and girls.".

Last night’s ⁦@4corners⁩ did not focus on Ukrainian perspectives or regurgitate Ukrainian propaganda & pro-NATO narratives (as 99% of reporting since 2022 has). That does not mean it was pro-Russian ⁦@AmbVasyl⁩. Give viewers some credit.
