Firefighters are working to extinguish a rubbish fire on Ashfords Road in Gregadoo, south east of Wagga Wagga. Smoke is currently impacting surrounding suburbs. Residents are advised to keep all doors, windows and vents closed to prevent smoke from entering your home.

Update 5:56 pm: Fire activity has reduced in the vicinity of Mimosa. Crews have worked hard to contain the fire and work to strengthen containment lines along Goldfields way. Residents in the Mimosa and Sebastopol areas should stay informed as conditions may change.
