I often wonder whether I am pushing too much and whether the Taliban’s patience will finally run out.

Fake news. Sources privy to the talks say nothing of the sort happened. If they had delivered an ultimatum or walked out then they wouldn't be sitting down for tomorrow's talks. And guess which 'Afghan' channel is amplifying this lie?
Big news! The Pakistani delegation has walked out of the Istanbul talks after delivering a final ultimatum. It is now up to the Taliban regime representatives to show goodwill and take meaningful steps to rescue the negotiations.

Tomorrow will see a third day of negotiations between Afghanistan and Pakistan in Turkey. Do not fall for state-driven propaganda coming from the other side. Much can still come out of the talks.

No agreement should be signed by the IEA unless Pakistan pledges unconditional respect for Afghanistan’s aerial and land sovereignty. Any support Pakistan needs on the TTP front can only be discussed following such a pledge in the presence of mediators.

It is worth noting that accounts from Pakistan are making it look like they’ve gone to Turkey with a list of demands that the Taliban are now to discuss and agree upon. Sources tell me that the agenda for this meeting was set by the mediators during the Doha talks. Nothing new is

It’s quite disgusting how often Pakistans minister of defence spews warmongering BS. Afghans do not want war. We have nothing but love for the common Pakistani yet he would do well to know that we are the last people he wants a war with.
Big breaking News; 25 October 2025 Pakistan's Defense Minister Khwaja Asif speaking to media threatened that "If talks fails in Qatar today, then it is open war with Afghanistan". Khawaja Asif's mimicry of Trump will cost it's country a heavy price because Afghanistan is not

Many political groups faulting the Taliban, and there is much to fault them for, have all done all or most of what they judge the Taliban for doing in their own time. Flag, woman’s rights, media control and others. Let us hope we can put an end to this cycle soon.

Note that the Taliban have already clarified that the dam on Kunar river is not meant to divert water but somehow the noise refuses to stop.

We meet India, the hybrid regime has a problem. We build dams, the hybrid regime has a problem. It’s almost like we cannot be an independent nation or have national interests of our own.

This move appears primarily as a deterrent against Islamabad. Kabul is unlikely to take any action that could harm Pashtun communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as it is feared that the province would directly bear the impact of any step involving the Kunar Dam. Perhaps this is why
Afghan Water & Energy Minister Abdul Latif Mansoor stated in an interview that documents from the former Afghan Republic show Pakistan had agreed to the Kunar River dam. He adds the project, ordered by the Taliban’s Supreme Leader, won’t harm Pakistan and work will begin soon.

I love how much it makes the blood of those who cannot see Afghanistan connected with the world boil when Zal is in town! He has been vital in ensuring Afghanistan and the United States move towards normalisation of relations and work on mutual interests.
Former U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan, Dr. Zalmay Khalilzad, met today with Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi in Kabul. The informal meeting focused on exploring ways to enhance bilateral relations between Afghanistan & United States. @realZalmayMK

The vile racist rhetoric following the military hostilities with Pakistan are quite unfortunate. Those running such psychological ops from Pakistan need to realize that this poisoning of the well will take years to correct. Also, this racism spills over onto the Pashtuns living
