the reason why Labour has not banned conversion therapy is that they cannot figure out a way to word it that allows TRANS conversion therapy to remain legal. If banned, that would require NHS to throw out 90% of gender identity services bcos it's all built on conversion therapy
We were promised a draft bill on banning conversion practices by the end of 2025 and it's mid-December with no movement. This government *must* commit to a trans-inclusive ban, especially following a report by the BBC into practices fifty years ago.

Theres a very long list of US products that cannot be sold in the EU thanks to EU regulations. Since the favorite pastime of the Trump regime and every US oligarch is now to demonize EU regulations, I thought it would be very much worth going through some of those products.🧵

So it transpires that @MichaelRosenYes was completely, chillingly right in Feb 2020 when pointing out the UK government response was that "the virus should be allowed to fly free round the population, so that the market can be free. Mass death would be a necessary price to pay

The UK population is just not scared enough about what Russia is doing - the threat to our energy, internet and food from Putin's hybrid warfare is tangible - yet we still get politicians worrying about £ on Defence - this is sobering and necessary 👇🏽
Putin's spy ship Yantar has been operating in UK waters, mapping undersea cables and pipelines that power our economy and daily lives. The Atlantic Bastion programme is our answer: AI-powered sensors, autonomous vessels, and world-class warships working as one integrated system.
