As we designed the component API I'd make a component and then throw it at an LLM as "a new JSX-based component model" and ask it to "explain the runtime semantics of the APIs you see" If it got anything wrong, I'd go back and redesign/rename things and try again.
Remix 3 feels perfect for LLMs: - Uses standard browser APIs LLMs know well - Code Agents can run type checks for safety - Simple state and clear event handlers - Many semantic functions Can't wait to play with it. Nice job guys

real productivity gains for prior technological advances came not from individual workers learning to use eg electricity, the internet but entire workflows, factories, processes, businesses being set up around the use of new tools (in other words, management)

The Windsurf story just keeps getting worse... Employee #2 gets an exploding offer for the 1% value of his shares after 3.5 years of vesting https://t.co/vVaOU0FY57
I’ve joined Cognition to continue to work on the future of software engineering. I was employee #2 at Windsurf and have worked on AI+code for years. There’s never been a more exciting time and place for it than now at Cognition. I had a place at Google DeepMind as part of the

Becoming an RL diehard in the past year and thinking about RL for most of my waking hours inadvertently taught me an important lesson about how to live my own life. One of the big concepts in RL is that you always want to be “on-policy”: instead of mimicking other people’s

Sample 1 is the sarcasm, you can tell because the lower tones remain flat and don't fluctuate with the mids and highs. Could also be perceived as boredom. Sample 2 has sharper rise on emphasis words, lows follow mids/highs indicates full vocal range. Did you get it right?

Ever wonder why AI can't understand sarcasm / tone? I gave whisper-V2 the same exact sentence with different tones: one excited, the other sarcastic. Same words, very different meaning. But it transcribed them both the same! Can you tell which is which? Sound on👂 Answer +

If this is true why would anyone join an early-stage startup ever again? Founding engineers and early employees need protection in writing
Update: After I posted this, I received info from senior Windsurf staff that indicated employees aren't getting properly taken care of, and the founders have not exercised duty of care with this acquisition. If so, that *sucks* — founders have a sacred obligation to the team.
