Normally, I would have started a thread to provide live updates of today’s DNC meeting. However, in light of the horrible, tragic school shooting that happened just miles away, we moved to adopt our committee reports en banc and adjourn early, which I did vote in favor of.

My first DNC Rules and Bylaws (RBC) Committee Meeting! This is the room where the action happens, everything from the early primary state window to automatic unpledged (super) delegates. I never thought I would be seated at this table - and now we’re here.

At a previous DNC Youth Council meeting, I announced be news that the Queen had died. Today, I announced similarly world changing news.

And my first update is some ✨Personal 💫 News✨ - I am officially now a member of the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee (RBC). This was a big shoot-for-the-stars goal when I first ran for the DNC and I honestly thought it would never happen, but thanks to Chair Martin we are here!

It is once more time to #LivetweetTheDNC. We’re tuning in to a Day One already in progress because I had to fly in morning-of due to the new Monday-Wednesday schedule. This week we are sitting our At Large members and our Committees, and also electing Caucus & Council leadership.
